CROWN PAPER’S BEGINNINGS

PRESIDENT BRUCE HALE

Bruce’s history in the paper converting business started as a young boy. He was eight years old when his father Robert Hale brought home his first butt roll of Newsprint from the waste paper dealership he was working for at the time. The entire family worked in their garage to unwind these rolls into sheets so Robert could sell them as packaging materials to the local pottery shop. Robert’s future business included Green Mountain Paper and Hillcrest Paper. In 1980, Robert sold his business and retired. It was in 1982 that Bruce and his wife Lisa decided to start their own business called Crown Paper Converting.

With a combined 40 years of converting experience, Crown Paper Converting, Inc. is now representing mills in the United States, Australia and Asia. Crown products are widely diversified from the Agricultural Market to the Building supply products and Industrial packaging Industries.
